Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 September 2026
Vocare respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information through our website, and how you can contact us about it. We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
1. Who we are
This website (vocare.com.au) is operated by Vocare Speech Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 99 689 326 001, ACN 689 326 001), referred to in this policy as "Vocare", "we", "us" or "our".
This policy covers personal information collected through this website only. It does not cover the Vocare platform (app.vocare.com.au), which is governed by our customer agreements.
2. Information we collect
We only collect the information we need to respond to you. Depending on how you use the website, this may include:
- Enquiries: your first and last name, organisation, work email address, role, and message.
- ROI briefings: your name, email address, phone number (optional), and the figures you enter into the ROI calculator.
- Strategy session bookings: the details you enter when booking a time through our Google Calendar booking page.
- Website usage: your IP address, and information about how you use the website such as pages visited, device, and browser type.
3. How we collect information
We collect personal information directly from you when you submit a form, request an ROI briefing, or book a strategy session. We also collect some information automatically when you visit the website, through cookies and our hosting and security services.
You can browse the website without telling us who you are. If you choose not to provide your details, we may not be able to respond to your enquiry or send you a briefing.
4. How we use your information
We use your personal information to:
- respond to your enquiry;
- send you the ROI briefing you requested, and follow up with you about it;
- arrange and hold strategy sessions you book;
- protect the website from spam and abuse; and
- understand how the website is used so we can improve it.
5. No marketing lists
We do not add you to marketing or newsletter lists, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only contact you about the enquiry, briefing, or session you requested. If you would prefer we did not follow up, let us know at support@vocare.com.au and we will stop.
6. Who we share it with
We do not share your personal information with other organisations for their own purposes. We use trusted service providers to run the website, who handle personal information on our behalf only to provide their services to us:
- Vercel — website hosting.
- SMTP2GO — delivery of form submissions and ROI briefing emails.
- Upstash — spam and abuse protection, which processes IP addresses.
- Google — website analytics (Google Analytics), strategy session booking (Google Calendar), and website fonts.
- YouTube and jsDelivr — playback of videos embedded on the website.
7. Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. This includes our website host, whose global network delivers the website to visitors worldwide. Before we use a service provider, we take reasonable steps to ensure it handles personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
8. Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to help us understand how visitors use the website, such as which pages are viewed and how long visits last. This information is aggregated and we do not use it to identify you.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). The website still works without cookies.
Embedded videos load from YouTube only when you press play, and use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com).
9. Storage, security and retention
Enquiries and briefing requests are sent to our business email inbox. Access is limited to Vocare staff who need it to respond to you. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure.
We keep enquiry and briefing information only for as long as we need it to respond to you and follow up, or as required by law. When we no longer need it, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it. IP addresses used for spam and abuse protection are kept only briefly.
10. Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing support@vocare.com.au. We will respond within 30 days. There is no charge for making a request. If we refuse a request, we will tell you why in writing, as the law allows.
11. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us at support@vocare.com.au with details of your complaint. We will investigate and respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
